26/11/08 21:16:00	Tags : None When I first 'found' k.d. one of the first things I watch was the wonderful interview with Dame Edna http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIZCByXsrtc.Since then I must have watched it a hundred times,infact I just watched it again now and I was wondering ,did k.d ever speak about it after.She must have had the best time doing that. For those of us who love k.d's laugh its like all your christmases come at once!!! just wonderfull and such good fun What do you all think,do you love it too?

26/11/08 21:25:00	It's one of the first vids I saw of her too. But I don't knuuuu sorry. I really liked Dame Edna and thought it was hilarious. I thought it was awesome that this guy did a show with this personality character. I think I need a quick watch of it before I head off to get blood work done waaaah.

No wonder k.d. likes Australia (because if I am not mistaken the impersonator is from Aussie. No wonder k.d. like that country. They seem to be very nice folks out there... And the song ' I am every woman' that comes after with these girls in their mauve wigs and 50's wing glasses to match Dame Edna....Just pure cake with you know, that kind of icing we hate to love! The part I love is that where Dame Edna, about to describe a supposedly naughty word & at first, kd starts to lose it & laugh, she composes herself enough & right when Dame E says the punchline, kd loses it & bursts out laughing (I love that laugh too!) - seeing her shoulders shake when she's trying to compose herself was so funny, I just loved that

27/11/08 00:02:00	ah, dame edna ... s/he is just a marvel! makes me laugh and laugh. kd so clearly loved being there. she was part of the segment, but also, somehow, a viewer like the rest of us. i really think they are very much alike, those two: working kitsch to the max (the early kd) with love and good humour. dame edna, may your tribe increase!

27/11/08 14:44:00	Here's my plug for MAC - MAC is the really the best cosmetics company. I know this is going to sound like I work for them but I don't...I'm just a die hard fan and have been for 15 years. First off, they're Canadian, so yay for that. Also they do not test on animals. They're packaging is all recyclable. Their lipsticks taste like vanilla, and all their other stuff smells like vanilla, not some disgusting perfume. They have cool spokes people (?). If you bring in 6 empty MAC containers, tehy'll give you a free lipstick. And they are a high end cosmetics company and yet their prices are very, very reasonable. I love MAC! I'm excited about this Dame Edna angle.
