Not just for how cool and elegant she looks in a lovely black suit- not just for another spectacular performance in front of the writer himself- but for the most beautiful smile at the end to him - and the acknowledgement from him at the end. 12/01/09 19:41:32	Oh Fruity and manon, I am glad you both enjoyed it- there are quite a few clips now of kd singing this and they are all brilliant - but to her see her sing it right in front of LC- and have a little stumble on the words- I reckon this performance meant a lot to kd. I am guessing the way kd bows to him is a traditional buddhist one? kennedyflairs bikergirls do it on Harleys!!!

13/01/09 14:59:12	Oh, how a very moving and absolutely beautiful rendition of the song this is. The Juno award sone in 2004 I think, was one of my favorite but this! Thank you Harley girl for having brought this jewel to our attention. The expressions and body langage of both k.d. and Leonard Cohen at the end tells it all for sure. I will copy and cherish this and I think I too, want it sung as I am on my dying bed...Chantal
