Just a few days ago, I was looking at that wonderful photo of k.d. you took in the street in Oxford and thought that it had been a while since we heard from you. Your being the only man here as far as I know ( but then there must be others I am sure, because the k.d magic acts on both sexes as I had ample proof of ,when looking discreetly at the reactions and obvious enthusiasm of the gentlemen on my first two concerts.) And this magic works for all those sensitive and perceptive enough to grasp it, men or women. k.d. has worked very hard to both remaining true to herself and then at saying or rather singing things that are universal and meaningful to all. This is an Herculean task that she undertook what with the business constraints and no doubts all sorts of signals that she was not on the right track...All to her credit. Please do us the favor of moving soon to Yuku if you have not do so yet. Time is getting short and then grace us with a post ' once in a while' as a masculine point of view at least! makes for a good balance. There are quite a number of heterosexual women here and very dedicated fans from the beginning too and this is another aspect of Kennedyflairs I love. Ghettos are the most pathetic, stiffling. artificial and sad thingI can think of.
