kdlang.com looks hot! Beautiful, clean design. Currently listening to "Beautifully Combined" as it plays on the site. Nice collection of k.d. pics...some of which I've never seen!

Yeah I was just looking it over as well......the site looks great! I have to say, I am very, very excited at the thought of a new album so shortly after Watershed. We did not have to wait years this time! Can't wait for the list of concerts I will be so eager to spend my money on even though my pocketbook has barely recovered from the Watershed tour yet...lol Also can NOT wait for my autographed Herb Ritts print....yay!! And now speculation about kd at the Olympics....so much to look forward to!

OK, seriously a GREAT day in the k.d. lang world! Got my Recollection CD(s) today (yes, more than one, the other will be a gift), autographed photos, new website,... to what do we owe the pleasure?! Belated B-day gift to me, obviously! Ha ha , just kidding! I LOVE the new site, the photos, videos,... clean and elegant, nice job to those who made it. And I agree with kdlangfan, the thought of new music gets my heart racing a bit, it's all a little much for one day! Love that music plays automatically on each page/click,... I like "Beautifully Combined" too. So excited, I'm rambling, I apologize. :)
And a really cool feature is each time you go to the home page a different photo comes up and a different song plays - very nice.

It took me an extra few minutes to find links to kf's and the currently empty downloads section because on a laptop window the link for "More k.d." is at the very bottom. At least that button occurs on several of the pages. I think you'd see it more easily on most desktops though you wouldn't know it was something that took you to links and downloads.

Now that is really looking good. The site has been designed by a firm called "Tomorrow Partners". Obviously kd's management decided it was time to get professional help. I also think it is entirely possible that the critique on this site also played a part in that decision. Congratulations, it is now a pleasure to visit.
kfs, however, will always be THE place to be. |

Clearly: "and as always, the latest in k.d. news" does not describe kd's website to date in fact, it is far from the truth.
We can now only hope that maybe someone has taken note of what the customers have been saying at last. I still wouldn't advise anyone to just look at the official site and assume they won't then miss kd on TV and so forth. The new website has a lot of work to do to rebuild confidence and trust. I wish it well. I would love that to happen. Maybe at last it will. |

i concur, o physician to the stars.
it's handsome, and having her music in our ears as we hop about is beyond delightful. i have a cuppla quibbles, however: 1. i wish kennedyflairs were spelled properly and the link easier to locate. (and jeanne, the 'more kd' tab shows at the bottom of my pc screen, too) 2. the images seem to be in zoom format. for those photo thieves amongst us (can it be just me?), it'd be swell if they were not. but it is a fantastic look and bodes well. |
