As you may know I'm a big fan of Rufus Wainwrights and on 9th Dec. me and Kat had tickets for his show "A Not So Silent Night" at the Royal
Albert Hall in London. Kat found out a few weeks ago that she would be doing the makeup for this event (through M.A.C.) As you can imagine she was thrilled as
she's a big fan of his too. So I watched the show on my own as Kat was backstage (and had been since 3 in the afternoon) making up the female members of
Rufus family and other ladies in the show. She was very kindly given a backstage pass for me (she informed me in the interval!) and at the end of a very
wonderful show, I met her at the stage door and we went in to the VIP bar where I saw quite a few "personalities" including Brian Eno, Helena Bonham
Carter (and her mum) Boy George (who was performing) Linda Thompson, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Paloma Faith, plus of course most of the performers. We got a few

It was such a lovely night, Kat got lots of positive feedback from the people she did make up for and Rufus's family are just so nice!
