Yes, the show was fantastic. kd and her "handsome young men" really had fun with each other on stage.She justs get better and better (is that
possible??).

PHWOAR!!!! I'll fly on a Virgin again any day, I tell yer!!! .........oh yeah where am I ............just got back in and after checking the contents of my broken into suitcase. (That'll teach me to buy relaxing Dead Sea bath salts for my mum and dad............I'm now branded international drug runner!  Rubber
glove inspection thankfully avoided ). Major performance to get home tonight. It would appear four wheels to drive for one hour is more complicated than
catching a thing with two wings and flying for 7 or 8. So just to say ..........got home ..........got in ...........and going to bed. Hopefully tomorrow
I'll be able to get up early enough to be coherent and post something sensible.
Cora it was a real pleasure to meet you my fellow 4th of Sept date sharer. What a wicked sense of humour you have. I'll keep yer posted Fed Ex style ! 
.............and manon ....my dear, dear, dear, dear .................friend ! Yep dropping the OLD! (ancient no good either?) Seriously manon it was a treat to get that whack with a New York map....I've never been hit with so many subways all at once. You also have a wicked sense of humour. Luv ya loads. By the way are you still tulcking stoopid?? You're still sane and at home I hope.........not in a nervous wreck centre somewhere!! 
The whole experience has been almost indescribable but I will try and put it in words as soon as possible. And I need to sort out which sd card the pic is on out of the uhum ! almost 100 or so pics I took of kd in concert. It was amazing and kd was in excellent form..........as usual !

Yeah!!!! Honey's I am HOME!!!!!! Like Caz, I had a very relaxing 6 hr flight back thanks to an awesome jetstream! It's gonna take a few days to consult
with a specialist graphologist who can analyse and break down the illegible scribbles Manon casually mentioned as my notebook!! For some reason Manon-
something reads like....." I love my pants"..... I cannot begin to imagine what that may mean?? Can you Manon??
Well who would have thought all those months ago when I mentioned I was going to see kd in New York- that I would end up watching the show with such great gals!! As you all know now from Cora's amazing account and LA's fotos- it was FANTASTIC!!!! Lock Stock and Teardrops was a brilliant bonus at the end and after watching so many YT versions- to hear it live was great. She so could release another country album- go on kd!!! Cora and LA- it was a complete pleasure to meet you and btw - should Steven Speilberg ever need an assistant- you got the job!!! All will be revealed by Caz soon guys- watch this space - eh Caz!!!! You are sooo sweet - and very assertive too may I add - "Let the American count the money!!" hahahahahahah!! (see blog when I get my notes analysed!) When you visit England I will gladly be your tour guide! LA- what a lucky thing you are - doing a job you love! It was soo great meeting one of my YT legends and having the time to chat- btw- are pizzas normally that size in the US? phew!!!!!!! Summat in the post will be winging its way to you- might need a wee bit of time though! I REALLY hope we get to meet again sometime! Awesome photos btw! Manon- what can I say- you are a real lady! Funny, wise, mad, patient, fit (actually- VERY fit- geez you did some walking in NY!!) an amazing tour guide- Caz and I would never have known to go to Trinity Church, The Chapel by Ground Zero and St Pat's - and weren't the inscriptions on those very old headstones touching- remember the one the guy wrote himself!! I was truly blessed having the opportunity to talk to you and I admire your patience too- it is definitely one of your finer qualities!!! I am glad you got home safely lugging the heavy bag that you wouldn't let me and Caz help you with!!! And I will let you off for getting Caz and I lost in Central Park - hahahahah!!!! Btw- can I just say how patient you were with me!! Did I mention that already?? Sorrry- I know I'm annoying.....but seriously though- you are a true diamond and I will take on board all the things you said to me- THANK YOU xxxxxxx Finally- I must properly take this moment to thank my OLD ( see Manon- I can get her back for you hahahah!) mucker Caz!! I think we have had some amazing memories to treasure eh!! Remember how excited we were when we finally emerged out of the Bowling Green Subway into the sunlight at Battery Park. We were like 2 ridiculously excited schoolgirls to be in New York!! I think all the folk travelling with us on that subway train must have picked up on that too. We will recount our escapades in our blogs but I wanted everyone to know how special Caz is! You were a great travelling companion even though at times I may not have been!! I am so happy that as it turned out- you truly were the first fan to officially greet kd at Staten Island and you have the brilliant foto you took to treasure forever! Gotta catch some zzzzzz now as I am working in a few hours - DANG! 
But what I really want to say is an enormous THANK YOU to all the fantastically polite, friendly and helpful NEW YORKERS that we encountered on our amazing trip. They truly were a credit to the City which has recently endured so much pain- I will never forget the memorials in that Chapel at the WTC site. To anyone thinking about visting one of the most vibrant, exciting and iconic cities in the world- DO IT- I thoroughly recommend it!!! Catch up with you all soon Patty xxxxxxx

i have spent many, many wonderful hours in 'the city', as we called it when i was growing up in its shadow. nyc is truly like no other place on this blue marble. how wonderful that you ladies from both sides of the pond could meet there and go adventuring (and kding) together. we await the details!

hahahaha Pat! i totally forgot about the counting money thing
 if i may, cause that was a hillarious moment, here's what happened:
As we arrived in the parking lot next to the venue we noticed that it would take 4 dollars to cover our time there. You should have seen pat (who kept trying to get into my side of the car btw, had to keep telling her, "the other side Pat!"  lol) and Caz and Manon in the back seat trying to sort
through all the american money. It was a hoot!! Finally after watching them and hearing them go, "which one is this?" and, "it's worth how
much?" I finally said, "How 'bout we let the American count the American money?" Oh, that makes me laugh out loud now just thinking about
it. That quote is getting added to the frame I made for myself of our soon to be group photo, that is as soon as Caz gets them all sorted since she is now the
offical kf's staff photographer Both of get some rest. We can't have you falling asleep on the job, they'll never let you go on holiday again! xoxo

school in the face* I remember having been to most of the places you guys named. My sister and I were taking a rest in Battery Park our last visit and were
approached by some guys trying to sell stuff, twas kind of creepy.
Aaahaha! I'm cracking up from your struggle with American mulah and the cars! That is hilarious!  Awwww I wanted to hear the accents hmmffff!!! You know what is really cool? Some of you guys betting back together for a
second time in a completely different counrty! Very very neat I think and true fans who are friends.  I love hearing about k.d. and Jamie together. It makes me all giddy inside.
