I admit I did no flossing myself last night. (bad bad Squid!) But, I did however list some old camera stuff on good ol' e-Bay.
Anyway...so Ms. frootcakedness....any word as to junior's possible upright bass purchase? Still wondering.......

alright, you char-broiler of helpless undersea creatures you: forget ebay!
or at least consider an alternative source of income. quit giving away these surpassingly excellent
gifs and begin charging for them. they are too too wonderful, especially this guy. i think i am in love.
hang on! should you begin to charge for gifs i would but up a mighty nasty river indeed, as
financial solvency is not exactly my strong suit.
hmmm. okay, forget that. bad idea. back to ebay. concentrate on g.i. joe outfits (which i so so am
coveting, btw!), musical paraphernalia and camera stuff. you'll do fine.
as for my son's pal's decision? i am in the dark. squid, a mother is always the last to
know.

My collection of gifs is primarily from haphazardly poking around the internet and spying an interesting one every now and then. Frankly, most of the nicer
ones have come from one of my favorite "haunts" which is findagrave.com. Folks are encouraged to "leave" flowers and a note for the
selected deceased. Many will leave an interesting gif, so, I gleefully hijack them!
You covet my GI joe stuff ?!? Really!?! You're funny.

i do. here's the thing: i was never into dolls as a kid. i mean, i had some but i never
really 'got' them. never got the point of them. i even had a couple of madame alexander dolls, the sort of fancy-schmancy precursors to
barbie: very pretty and proper. anyway, they had tons of clothes and accessories one could buy and i had some. but ho hum. i'd put on a dress. and then
change the dress. and then, what?
but the g.i. joe stuff looks ... interesting. utilitarian. like it really works. you mentioned that
the zipper on the leather jacket functions. cool! and the flippers? love 'em!
i don't know. your little sets just look inviting.

omg!
check this out:
i just went over to findagrave.com and clicked on 'new listings' and there was jesse helms.
you know, mr. no integration, no women's choice jesse? anyway, i found this little note next to a droopy daisy cartoon at the bottom of his page:
The Virtual Flowers feature has been turned off for this memorial because it was being continually misused.
the man's been dead barely a day and folks have already made their way to this site to give old
jesse the poke. amazing.

Oh Maven of the cake of all things fruit.......
Yes, by golly, the G I joe stuff was utilitarian and much fun! Joe had many moveable joints so you could pose him in all manor of positions and he could
stand with very little assistance. Most clothing had cool snaps and buttons and zippers and real pockets that you could put tiny things into. Many pieces of
footwear were actually right/left designated! How 'bout that !?! (save for the flippers and dress shoes) His finger joints didn't move but the hands
were formed in such a way that Joe could hold his weaponry and assorted myriads of accessories in fairly realistic fashion. My one brother and I had hours of
fun making a "tent" under dining room table and playing battles and such. We made plenty of accessories too. Bandages with magic marker blood on
them and crutches from small "Y" shaped tree branches...you name it. As I was going through my inventory a couple of weeks ago, I found fake money
that I had made in several pockets of one outfit. I've no clue as to what Joe was going to buy with it. Anyway...Joe was a hell of a lot more fun and
interesting than Barbie ever was. I was fortunate that the Barbie I had actually had knees that bent. Otherwise, her arms were permanently straight and when
they were out stretched, she could only look like the bride of Frankenstein. (minus the groovy grey hair streaks) G I joe was the best toy a Tomboy could ever
own!
Now...isn't findagrave fascinating? Many celebrities have had the virtual flowers function turned off! The only one I can recall is River Phoenix. I
find it really interesting that no matter who you look up, famous or not, the same people seem to be leaving flowers. If you click on their names, you
get information on them. It's almost rather bizarre. A nice thing though is that you can post your own family or friends on there if you
wish...make your own virtual cemetery. I've seen a few messages from people asking others to not leave flowers since they never knew or met their loved
one. Well! How rude!
You wanna buy a gif of the Brooklyn Bridge? Maybe a gif of beachfront property in Arizona?

Hey FROOOOOOOOT!!!
I was going to bless you with another cool/stupid gif that I found, but my storage is full and MSN won't allow me to clean some of it out to allow
space for the new thing to post. If you give me youe e-mail addy I can send it to you. I promise it won't make you dizzy like the rockin' cat did.
Have a nifty Thursday!
