I'm in a bit of a monetary pickle. (putting it mildly) I sell lots of nonsense on E-bay under my well known odd name of "Squidtoaster." Mostly
musically oriented, but since I'm no longer at the music store, my inventory of that is dwindling so I'm digging out my old comic book collection

Speaking of that, you all were keeping me in your thoughts last year when my mother was in the hospital. She is still doing fabulous at the age of 80! (meals
on wheels, letting the dog take her for a walk, bell choir...she's a tough cookie!)

Thankfully, for the most part, the weather isn't that bad all that often. Snow is OK. (4 wheel drive is a blessing!) I despise the pouring rain!
That's a miserable delivery day. Pretty rare though. I deliver mostly in beautiful Bucks County, PA. My main office is in a little town called
Ottsville. Mostly back roads...a few are poorly maintained dirt and gravel. (grumble again) Gorgeous in the spring and summer. One of the best things about
the job is that I never have that lack of daylight syndrome problem in the winter months...and I can listen to all the kd I want as I'm delivering!

Thankfully, no one was looking. (phew!) I would love to see someone try to get a postal truck through some of the "roads" (and I use that term
loosely) I must traverse. Like I said, 4 wheel drive IS a blessing! The postal service no longer provides Jeeps it seems. I don't know if they ever
were 4 wheel drive. The Jeeps they had were pretty cool I guess, but, way too small to cram all that mail into! Most routes seem to average about 400+
customers and when this one is receiving parcels of 80 pound bags of seed or that one has ordered a flock of guinea hens...I'm glad my Rodeo is a bit
larger. (lots of farms 'round these parts) I actually saw my car clean once when it rained REALLY hard. (usually caked with mud from the
aptly named Sheephole Road. Really.) (I call it Sh*thole road
