What bothers me about this one is that if the singer were a man, it would be out-and-out offensive to women. With kd there, who is such a woman's woman, it is just strange that she is apparently ok with the concept of strip clubs or poledancing or whatever it is. I know there is an argument that this sort of thing empowers women and they can make their own choices, etc, but there is too much coercion around in the sex industry for me ever to feel at all relaxed about it. And kd doesn't look like herself either - is it eye make-up? Hardly any smiles, and she doesn't give the impression she's enjoying herself.

That said, it does showcase the band well, and strongly signals the radical change of direction from Watershed, and the fact that kd is now part of an ensemble rather than soloist plus musicians. The musical aspect is great, and the story with the two young women is sweet and well-done. But the dancers...urggh.
