Hi everyone! It's been so long since I've really posted here that I don't even recognize many of the names in this thread! Hello to everyone! News of kd and Jamie's split have brought me here today and I will try to remember to be more involved.

I think many of the references to Twitter and Facebook are probably a good reason for lack of posts by some people. I think also the sentiments expressed by Abstorch are, perhaps unconsciously, a reason. There is only so much time a day that a person can devote to the internet. And many of us who have waited for kd by many stage doors after spending lots of money on concert tix, gifts to hand to her and travelling long distances to see her only to be completely ignored at worse, or at best not even spoken to or given the slightest bit of eye contact may feel like we want to spend our daily hours on other things. To spend even more daily energy on kd can feel, well, masochistic.

Having said that, I still love kd and will still go to every concert I can and still wait hopefully by the stage door and in fact, I'll still even Tweet kd in hopes she might respond and I need to remember that coming to kfs has more to do with connecting with friends than kd.

Also, I love Facebook. It is an absolutely wonderful vehicle for keeping in touch with friends and family. I have recently moved from Canada to the States and it's difficult to keep in touch with every person. With Facebook, I can post photos and updates and see what everyone else is up to. I'm 42, so Facebook isn't just for kids.

Anyway, I'm catching up here.....someone mentioned in another post kd is moving back to Canada!? Does anyone know where? I assume out West somewhere. It's a shame about kd and Jamie but it doesn't surprise me in the least. kd seems like she was finally ready to embrace her career again and that means touring and not devoting 100% of her time to Tools for Peace and her relationship.
