Not just for how cool and elegant she looks in a lovely black suit- not just for another spectacular performance in front of the writer himself- but for the most beautiful smile at the end to him - and the acknowledgement from him at the end. 25/08/10 22:33:50	Robin & capi---You two are my buds for sure!!!! :x LA---you too, girl!!!! "Till the Heart Caves In" is in the top 5 of my fave k.d. songs. She sings it so beautifully and with so much meaning---it is all about hopelessness and destitution, after all, and I can feel her almost collapsing under the weight of it every time I hear her pour her heart into it. It's not a feel good song and at times I have to stop replaying it because of the mood it plunges me into and the tears that inevitably follow. I think we all have a switch inside that says this is best for us or not but sometimes we have to listen. there is something about kd's music that makes we want to listen to what goes on isnide me.

30/08/10 04:59:54	Thank goodness kd listened to her inner self & chose singing. I couldn't imagine kd not singing. It's a huge part of who she is. Always has been, always will be. Her voice is like no other. Thank goodness the nun suggested singing. Phys' teacher? Yeah, she would have been an awesome teacher. A singer? The best this world has ever heard. Hopefully kd will still be singing at the age of 98. (or more). .
