I can't download that interview but I do remember kd saying in an OG interview that she didn't much care for Love Affair.
A very great pity because it is frequently mentioned in fans' lists of favourites and it is a favourite of mine but if one wasn't a dedicated fan, how many people would have bought the Twister album? I bought the album and have never bothered to even listen to anything else on it but it was a waste of a beautiful song, beautifully sung. |

it tears my heart out, mostly due to kd's reading of it.
i love it. i remember wondering the first time i heard it whether she was thinking of her dad as she sang the words.  ('a photograph to cling to', etc.) |

I think Love Affair is a gorgeous song and kd sings it with such emotion. I would love her to perform it live but as has been reported a number of times, she does not really care for the song so I guess she will never sing it. |

I remember reading once that kd never liked that song. If i remember correctly she said it doesn't make sense.
But, you cant believe everything you read. Especially when it comes to celebraties.

 Tell you about it? Oh man, i'm not good at that sort of thing.I'll try, but hey. As i'm a huge fan of kds i'm extremely biast. I love all the songs, (of course). I have to say, i hadn't heard Love for sale or Golden Slumber so they were a great surprise. Beautifully Combined. What can i say??? I'm sorry, i'm not one for giving reviews. Shelley, those articles were great. kd sounds really happy & rearing to give us more new music before next year. kd, thanks for starting with Australia first with Recollection. I love it! |
