Wow! I've been missing a ton since I've been off the internet. I've got to order this re-release. Thanks Shelly and Jools for this topic. It caught my eye while browsing through the many different Talk and Twang threads.

Sorry Abstorch, i didn't word it very well. I meant on the ATWE as in the 25 Anniversary cd just released.

Dolly's Dive? Never heard of it. It's beginning to sound a lot like there's numerous songs kd has done that i know nothing about.

Agreed and why so few songs on each disc? Does the quality suffer if one puts more songs on? I don't think so but I could be wrong.

Another fan of Mercy here. I also hadn't heard it until I got the new ATWE.
When you really consider it, k.d. has a massive catalogue of songs over the years, some just recorded live, some on obscure soundtracks etc; as was said on another thread, the real definitive "recollection" should have been on about 5 discs! I'd buy it.

Mercy wasn't on the original ATWE. I don't think that has ever been available but I did have the live performances of Johnny Get Angry, Burrs Under Your Saddle and of course Friday Dance Promenade and Damned Old Dog. Hungry For Love was also previously unknown. There was another song from that era which I have live and would have been nice to include, Dolly's Dive.

I have just been listening to this again and I really like Mercy. A very cheery piece. I had never heard it before and I thought I had heard and collected everything.

I think the release date might have been altered for the UK. From earlier indications it should have been out yesterday....these are my findings today however...

http://www.amazon.co.uk are saying the item should be available in 6 to 11 days.
http://www.play.com are saying they're "temporarily out of stock", when they were probably never IN stock.
And http://www.hmv.com are saying the release is 15 March.

Have we got any lawyers as members Shelley??? Would love someone to explain in layman's term what this means???? How can it be that our friends in Canada can't buy this??? I don't get it

Any idea of this album will be available in stores too or just the Bumstead website? It would be easier to buy it in a store, but I may have to look into puchasing it online if it's only available online

Opus-I wouldn't bother! The videos are only the ones from Harvest of Seven Years and don't seem to be of better quality. It's a very basic dvd-no into titles, it just plays!

Got mine yesterday! Now I only have to hack my new blue ray player for the region 1 code. Anybody has an idea ? I have a panasonic dmp-BD 80 player.
