Hi there Chantal. Hope you are well.
Just posted the first few pics of kd on the Staten Island thread a few minutes ago. Dew know, one can only sit in total awe of the woman performing on that stage. It's like having your daily tonic as the words and music drift through your ears. Like a meditation.

I must admit, I was slightly relieved at the choice of a new opening act. Don't get me wrong, Dustin's music was ok but I couldn't listen to it over and over again. Meaghan and her 'peeps' were so lovely to us while we were there. I'm looking forward to seeing more of her when she comes to England..........and by that I mean on the TV and the new album when it comes out..............tut ! girls ...puleez!

There are still more pics to come.
Have a lovely time in Sweden, and take care my fellow kdian...

Thank you so much Caz for those photos! Of course I am going to get them printed and take them to Sweden with me( some sort of Good Luck charms) k.d. and her blue and gray flannel shirt... I am getting to love it as much as the white linen one. She is so impossibly,wonderfully natural and without guile. I said it before I know but she always has this cleansing, purifying effect on me. Down to basics, things that matter. And those photos of the lovely, talended Meaghan Smith and her "peeps" as she says. I can well see in her what made k.d. choose to open for her. Again dear, funny,lovely Caz,thank you for that and other things too.

Whoops! yep ...........I remembered as I was going through the photos just now, and I did giggle at the time when she said it.............it was so sweet the way it just slipped out.........put it down to my old age and the fact I needed a picture to jog the old grey cells!! By the way the good news is there are at least 90 photos of kd still to come and at least another 60 (a mixture of the guys in the band and Jamie) also still to come...........so pin back your eyelids !!

Uhum! I could hear your evil little laugh from here.........I'll show you mine if you show me yours.........I'm in enough trouble as it is yer know!!
I've got to try and remember how I did that Sweet Marie video to be able to convert it for the board.........

Erm! yeah Pat......I forgot about the videos...........you mean the one on my camera of us getting up to sumut on the beach, and the one Cora's got of me being a singing/talking donkey !! Do you think they are fit for other human ears to listen to them................have a kinda feeling there will be an increase in demand for hearing aids or cotton wool yer know. Put it out as a 'would anyone really like to see harleygirl and caz cmk1 making twits of themselves in the USA' option. Let us know everyone.

Cora, fabulous blog and I can just visualise kd and Jaimie swaying to 'close your eyes'. Can't wait for the rest of the blogs.....this is sooo exciting.
I too am sorry we didn't get to meet up (so that makes 3 of us on the 4th Sep) and I hope it was not too much for you stuck between my sisters lol.

Manon, how could anyone begin to describe Caz n Pat I thought it best you were gobsmacked just like I was when I first met them lol.

Caz that photograph is amazing...how on earth did you compose yourself!!!! I now have it as my screensaver mwa

Awesome fotos Caz, now everyone can see why I didn't both taking any in the show as they could not have compared to Caz 'The Pap" Moon. And can I saw the zoom lens on Caz 's camera is absolutely ridiculously brilliant- wait for the blogs guys!! Will posting up blog soon- like Caz says it will great (if you are interested?) to share some of our exploits!! It was a fantastic week and we have a lot to tell you all- Caz- will there be a grand premier of the clip Cora did with us????? I am starting to wonder if it should be viewed at all?????? I suppose if you don't mind humiliating yerself in front of THOUSANDS of kd fans- oh what the heck!!!!

Ahhhhh, those pictures are fantastic Caz! I love the one of kd w/ the guitar, what a great smile! And the back of her head is funny too I also liked (a lot!) the pictures of Jamie & Meaghan at stage left, very very cool to see!

Well, were to begin.....so many wonderful memories, so much fabulous singing, and a touching moment between kd and Jamie...hmmm, well I guess I'll start from the beginning and work my way down

Dinner before the show: (incase anyone missed my other posts)
Pat and Caz and Manon (wonderful women by the way!!! Had a ball with them!) Found a nice little Italian place to eat, and it just happened to be right next door to the St. George Theater, which by the way, looked less than stellar from the outside, but was gorgeous once you got in (kd said it just needed a little TLC). We got ourselves a prime window seat and sat down to chat while we waitied for kdlangfan (another fun gal to have with us!!).
We'd been sitting there for about an hour or so when a large blue van pulled up. I said that the car looked familiar, the boys and kd...
