Merz means March. It's creating by Kurt Schwitters. He is author of poems with "Anna Blume" In golden 20th of Europe he was near Dada. Ok, enough words. Merz it's a game with words. In German March is Maerz and so it comes. Maerz is Merz, ok.

Just to let other people here to know this. About a year and a half ago, this very nice Wendy from Scotland sent me a huge package of k.d. goodies that she had in double and added two adorable Nessie puppets for my girls then 6 and 9. Both were wearing a Scottish plaid beret complete with a red woolen ponpon. The green one was chosen by Elisabeth and the pink one by Sheela-Sati (of course). And the latter really took to that puppet and made her a bed near her own and generally was very busy taking care of her every imagined needs for months. Of course, this has nothing to do with k.d. herself but tends to demonstrate once more what sort of people are drawn to this site. Generosity in all its forms is the trademark of Kennedyflairs. Whether in computer skills or sharing memories and photos,etc. And again, I strongly suspect that our common interest is at the basis of it all. I mean, her personality, her total honesty( even if we find it hard to swallow some times) well, definitely...

KF Members Travels/Sharing

I have heard Pat went on a wonderful Australian vacation recently---and I'm broadly hinting errr begging that we get a few photos on here from you Pat! For Pat and all others who where Born To Be Wild

Once a year the Harley Days take place in Hamburg with bikers from all over Europe and this year including a real live NY cop. On Sunday there is a parade through town which takes hours. Even though 99,9% of the bikes are Harleys, ALL bikers are welcome and anything goes.

In case there are fellow victims here today:

I had just re-installed an update for my Free AVG anti-virus and disabled the Email Scanner function as that has always been incompatible with Vista Windows Mail for whatever reason. Has anyone else found that?
I then found I still couldn't send or receive emails, getting an error box and useless repeated requests to confirm my identity. I then went to my Server's main BT Yahoo page to log onto my emails ....IT DIDN'T RECOGNISE ME!

So.....I tried to change my Password and got a warning from AVG about an extremely dangerous procedure.

Finally, in despair I phoned my Server and got a recorded message saying they are very sorry for the problem and their engineers are working on it. Whew!!!! How welcome is that?

Hi, its only me again--if its not one thing, is another. This is a major change for me and I had nothing to do with it. I signed into my e-mail box to check it out and was informed that I can no longer use it, which was codysmom7@hotmail.com and therefore, had to change it this one
. I have lost everything that was saved and the main thing is I also have lost everyone's e-mail addys. Please note my new e-mail addy and please drop me a line showing your addy. Everything is going nutty, for instance not being able to post here, now losing my e-mail addys. Its been approximately ten years having used my old addy. Thanks so much for bearing with me.

A kf MEDITATION DAY?

A number of times lately, I have sat and wondered, how many people would be interested in joining up one day, for a day of meditation.

Knowing that there are a good number of folks on the board who are spiritually minded, would anyone want to be involved.

We could also combine it with a picnic (or some such fodder arrangement) in a nice quiet location.

Anyways, he keeps his singing and strumming going on non stop and is entertaining!

My exposition is over into castle Biesdorf, or other name "Villa Siemens". It's right, first owner of trust "Siemens" was lived near my hometown. What a pleasure to me - my pictures into room of Mr. Siemens!

kd lang gave out a star

While looking for a cd tonight at the local library, the librarian and I got onto the topic of kd lang. Apparently kd gave a star to our local Librarians father, (she was at the zoo, where he worked) about 25years ago. It is pinned on his hat, which hanging in her kitchen. Her father has since passed away, unfortunately.
She is going to either bring it in to the library to show me (I am a regular there) or e-mail me a pic. She has the name of this site so maybe she will even post it herself.
Just sharing one of those little unexpected tid-bits that pop up and surprise a persons day!
